2006 SEPSDA Annual Meeting

　

    2006 SEPSDA Annual Meeting was held on Oct. 30-31 in Sino-German Center in Beijing, China.

    In the press conference after the meeting, researchers announced the updated achievements in SARS study. Chinese and European scientists, involved in SEPSDA project, with three years’ efforts, made great progress in anti-SARS study. The gene analysis on 8 kinds of SARS virus protein was completed, and its three dimensional structure was confirmed. 24 kinds of antiviral compounds were selected and some of the compounds were found with common antiviral.

    Dr. Wang’s lab, one of the participants, was the organizer of the meeting.
